Hi, Looking for complete set wheelhouse moldings for 68 Polara, there's going on a convertible but I would think 2 door would work. must be decent, not perfect is ok but decent, Pm mike

There are 2 different versions for’68 Polara. Wheel moulding with sill trim (bottom bling that goes from the front wheel well under the door to the rear wheel well) and wheel moulding without sill trim. The P/N for wheel moldings with sill trim are:
2932197-7 right and left front
3004400-1 right and left rear. (Corrected)

They have a small flange open at the bottom to overlap the sill trim. I found the right front and rear NOS on e-bay about 8 years ago. I had to take my right front to a local trim shop for repair as I couldn’t find new at the time.

I can probably find the P/N for the wheel well trim without molding and add it here later if you need that number. Sometimes the part number makes for an easier search.

I have my three original trim (both rear's and right front) they have some pretty good gravel road dings. I can take a look at them an see if there is any hope for restoring. Back then I didn't think so, but after fixing my sill trim, there may be hope.

Per the parts manual I may have been mistaken. It is the sill trim moulding that is different Sill trim with wheel moulding and sill trim without wheel moulding. I am pretty certain that the sill trim was standard on base Polara’s. Or if there was no sill trim they did not get the wheel trim.
So all wheel lip molding will have the little flange to accommodate the sill molding.
Anyway I had the wrong p/n above for the rear wheel lip molding, I mistakenly had the sill molding p/n. I changed it above
3004400-1 right and left rear wheel well trim molding.
2932196-7 right and left front wheel opening trim.

For ‘68 the wheel trim is the same across all Polara models, 2dr, convertible, 500, and even 4 dr. Monaco or other C’s are different due to their unique moldings.
