Yearlong E body project

I agree Matt. I think the Rim Blows look much better

Couldn't help it. When I saw the mention of the steering wheel, I flashed back to my youth. My sister's boyfriend had this really cool '71 Challenger with a 4-speed, but even at 12 I knew his steering wheel was hideous.

Matt, You suck... there is no way the plumber is riding in the same style as the carpenter in this story.

Plumbers have far less opportunity to express themselves artistically than carpenters unless of course you're this guy...

Was the rimblow steering wheel an option in 71? Just curious.

Code S83 was the rim blow for '70/1.

Matt......is that a definite no for Carlisle this year?

I would be really surprised if I was in a position to go.

I'm hoping you can find a way to make it there for at least Saturday....biggest FCBO member gathering (RALLY) on the planet.

Plus....I'm going to have the NYB finished and at the show.

I'll bust out with my news now. The reason that I most likely won't make Carlisle this year is that on the 24th of this month my lady and I are taking a 2 week + road trip east on vacation and when we return she will no longer be a Ms. but a Mrs. DetMatt! God willing we will be able to start enjoying all the coin I've been spending on this convertible although I still have a ways to go on it.
When we get back it'll be in time for the museum show and in August there's the Nats and right after that I'd like to skip WDC this year and head to Moparfest for a change in scenery. Add to that the money spent on the Imperial so far this year and I just can't, in good conscience justify spending the additional amount of money that it'd take to go to Carlisle in the middle of all that.
