I've been looking haven't been able to find another hood for a 66 or that'd be my plan for sure. I might wait until I got to the fall fling Mopar show and check the swap meet for a hood. Guy by me has a hood for a 67 but I don't think it would fit right.

Thanks, For sure man nice to see I got some people close by on here I don't know if there is any local car shows around us but I usually go to the big mopar shows every year spring/fall fling and Mopars in May. So yea maybe we will see each other around.

Yea when I do the engine swap I will install my max wedge hood scoop I picked up as well which most guys might frown upon but that's the plan. I'm either gonna black out the hood and scoop or try and color match the scoop to the existing blue.

Really we built a 318 and 440 on it before we just take it easy when moving it around and works fine for us.

Spent some time today undressing the 360 took off ac canister, fan and pulleys, power steering pretty much all the bulk went smooth except for a couple bolts that I had to torch. So next up is to check and clean the carb and then wire brush and clean the block while in mean time I find headers...

I know I need a to get a center sump oil pan and motor mounts so you guys know of anything else I would need in regards to installing it in my fury? Any advice is much appreciated

I'm just cleaning it up doing some minor things to it to quicken it up and make sure it'll be reliable as I plan to use my fury as a daily driver. It has things I need to pull off like the after market AC compressor and a couple other things.

So upon further inspection has an Edelbrock performer intake and a Carter AFB 623cfm carburetor which I will rebuild/refurbish so that saves me couple hundred bucks I I can spend on more parts. Was a good score for $500 '76 360 with 50,000 miles on it and I got to hear it run before I pulled it...

Got my 360 today brout it home, happily surprised it has a nice 4 barrel carb and a aluminum Edelbrock manifold. Now time to start pulling of all the crap on top like the AC compressor etc. and start braking it done for rebuild.

Yea if I could find another hood I'd go that route for sure but so far no luck in my area. As for cutting the hood my plan is to use a hole saw and cut 4 to 6 2.5 in holes depending on when I do full mock up what fits. I'm going to do hole so I can put rubber plugs when it rains to keep water out.
