Radio was added by the person who bought it at auction. Originally had the delete plate
Was pulling wiring harnesses to be redone today, and thought I should take a few pics of the talked about - but rarely seen - Police/Taxi/Fleet factory bulkhead connector bypass. Someone had already made a repair on one of the terminals at the ammeter in my car, but it is otherwise original.
Wires are molded into their grommet. No part numbers present. Cannot find in the catalog (if it's even in there). Pictured installed and out of the car for your viewing pleasure.

Pulled the instrument cluster today to investigate the oil gauge. It has two different part numbers on the face:
KS- 65287
2836091
A quick search turns up nothing. Not listed in the '68 parts book I have, BUT another TX Highway Patrol '68 Fury I've seen has this gauge in it as well.

Interesting. The gauge itself shows as...I've got this one but its for a B-body. I never found it listed in any parts books either.
