Going to enter my 1966 Newport in it`s first car show this weekend. It is bone stock other than having the seat re-done in 1989. Hope we get a few votes!!

Thanks for the comments on the car. It is a survivor. Garaged all it`s life.

Pismo Beach is in between San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria, right in the heart of the Central California Coast. They are expecting over 1000 entries this weekend. Look it up on the web. It is a great show.

Leaving for the show. It will be 104 here in the valley this weekend and only 66 at the coast. Looking forward to the cooler weather and even cooler cars!!

157 miles. You have to go over one small mountain range. Coming home as soon as you get to the top of the range you have an incredible view of the San Joaquin Valley. And you can also see and feel the heat.....LOL

Great cruise night last night. Local police having a field day writing tickets to all the cars and trucks playing with thier air bag suspensions while driving down the road. On a sad note. There is a "C" body here with 26" rims. Some people like it, just not me.
