Looking for recommendation(s) for complete wiring harness(s) for a 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible. I don’t know if this would require a single or multiple harness(s). Searching vendors/internet there seems to be “complete” or “”specific” applications and priced from from very low to very high making it confusing at best. Any suggestions as to vendors and/or manufacturers? Thanks.

Look for "OEM quality" of components (wire gauge and insulation thickness, plus terminals). Seems like there are several vendors out there, but only a few have "the good stuff". Unless Painless Wiring has specific pre-built harnesses for your vehicle, you might look elsewhere as most of their stuff tends to be "cut to fit" universal items (think "wiring a street rod").

In general, there are several different harnesses to make up the complete set. Forward lamp, engine compartment, a/c (underhood and inside), rear lamps, harness that goes between the fuse block and rear lamps, instrument panel, interior lamps, and possibly a few more.

And, of course, have a Chrysler FSM handy to track the circuits and wire color codes FIRST. Then you can realize just how inter-connected the various harnesses tend to be.

What is bad with your current wiring? Just curious.

you looking for engine bay/front lighting harness or interior elec/dash harness? I've found a couple people who have repro engine bay/front lighting harness but none for the interior ones. I marked all of my leads and have original shop manual with schematics so planned on redoing all of mine myself for interior elec but may spend the money for the engine bay one. I'll look for the places I found that had the engine bay ones and post here.
