Hey all, I’ve been weighing my options on the direction I want to take my Fury. It’s a 4 door sedan 318/727 with 49k miles and nearly all original besides some sun damage to the interior and a few dings and dents to the paint. The engine decided to become a cropduster and smokes heavily intermittently. I was thinking about turning it into a somewhat sleeper and putting a 383 in it and 3.55 gears. But on the other hand, I want to keep it mostly original and have been looking into building the poly and going that route. I would keep the poly in a heartbeat but the limited aftermarket parts are putting me on the edge. Any opinions would be appreciated, I would like to hear people’s experiences!

I've never owned one, but I really like the Poly, so I'm glad you're keeping it. Too many folks want to yank it out and put something less cool in their cars.

From what I've read, there are more parts that interchange with the LA318 than a lot of people think. Poly 318 Polyspherical Parts Interchange - Poly318.com That website has a lot of info that should be helpful.
