I continue working on an Excel-based decoder and am in dire need of pix or transcriptions of 1962 and 1965 Body Data Plates/Fender Tags--and an accompanying list of equipment actually on the car. I have the 1963-64 section working well. When done and tested the decoder will be made

Did you ever get this up and running or is there something similar for 1962?
Still in development and testing. Works pretty good on '62 Chrysler & Imperial & possibly others like Dodge 880 made at the Jefferson Ave. assembly plant. Please shoot me a picture of your fender tag and at least the first four characters of your VIN-such as 8223 If pix not possible, just type up the letter-number pairs of lines 3&4 and the string of characters and spaces on the bottom line. Sample '62 report attached. Spoiler alert: Early tags did not include much info on standard equipment for the make & model--or chassis line info like engine, differential, wheels, tires, brakes, suspension, auto pilot & etc. Still, I find the info is interesting and the report makes a nice addition to your provenance file. The pix must be legible. Please clean the tag and even sand the tops of the characters so I can read everything that is there. I look forward to receiving and processing your data.
