Need to Remove and Repair or Replace Passenger Side View Mirror on 1968 Imperial Crown Coupe

I can see one chromed Phillips head screw on the passenger side view. When I remove the lone screw I cannot figure out how to remove the mirror. Something seems to be holding the mirror on. Appreciate hearing from someone that knows how to remove the mirror completely. Thank you. Andy

Threaded stud towards the front under the mirror itself goes down into the door. It has a nut on it accessible from inside the door after removing the door panels.
