What do you mean Stew? Can you shoot me a pic and how do they come off?

I can't shoot you a picture because mine are missing. The two things I'm talking about, there is one on the front, and one on the back, are held to the compressor with two bolts, and the AC lines connect to them. If you can get me better pictures of the compressors, I'll prolly buy the fittings off you.

Yes. can you take some better pictures? It's hard to make out what's what in those pictures.

I'll do my best Stew the next time I'm over there. If you can google/figure out what you need looks like so I have a good idea what I'm looking for that would help. Or if someone on the forum understands what he needs please post.

FYI folks these parts are a 2 hr drive away so there's a little logistics involved on my part and my window of time on the ground so to speak is somewhat limited ... but when I know someones interested in something I'll do my best to either get a casting or part numbers as requested or bring them back home if we can talk offline and I understand what you are looking for and know I've got something in the condition you want. When I get it here I can take all the pics necessary.

Can someone tell me if any special tools are required to get these off? I have a basic set of line wrenches and a large adjustable wrench and I'll take some PB blaster .. no problems using that is there?.

Do people who rebuild compressors charge a core charge ? If so how much for core charge?

Are they worth anything or should I pitch them to a recycler? I can do that tomorrow as we have one in town .. i.e. a guy who collects it to got sell. To far to take it to get the $$ myself as I think steel is only about 7 cents a lb right now

Yes, should just be two bolts holding each one on. Probably 1/2 inch head on the bolts.
