Selling my 1971 Chrysler Newport. (Survivor - unrestored)
It's got a 383 2bbl. Looks, starts, runs, sounds, drives, and stops good.
I drove it all day on Woodward during the cruise, and had NO problems.

Drive daily as is...
Recently installed new (rebuilt) Carter carburetor, new belts, 4 new tires, new dual exhaust, new carpet.
Original Chrysler hubcaps, spare tire, jack, and keys included. NO RUST THRU - looks and runs good.
Not perfect: Could use vinyl top repair, general dings/surface rust repair. Seat fabric torn. Radio and factory power
antenna don't work. Wiper motor only works sometimes, and radiator leaks a bit.

I would keep it, but I have no garage - and wife wants it gone. It takes up too much driveway.

Engine/Trans/Wheels/Tires alone are worth this price!
A running 1971 Mopar 383 for this price is a GREAT deal.

Reply thru Craigslist if interested - please put "1971 Newport" in title.
CAN ONLY SHOW CAR ON WEEKENDS - $2100 or best offer

Thanks,
Matt

This car is worth saving but It'll take a lot of work to repair the rust.

Engine/Trans/Wheels/Tires alone are worth this price! Your kidding right ? Worth $2,100.?

Bob, did you see the rust on the quarter?

I didn't see that. Thanks for pointing that out. This car might be in worse shape than I initially thought.
