Wow I sure do like the looks of this one! Is that a factory sunroof? East coast car in nice shape. Road wheels too!

That looks like a steal! Great colours and condition, which is kind of odd given its location. I am curious about the sun roof as well, I'll tell you this much, it's not as big as the one in my 71 New Yorker I picked up in Calgary last week!

I like it... If he could get it to the PGH airport next month I wouldn't have to rent a car for the family reunion... That would really make it all worthwhile... except for where to put it.

Umm you were in Calgary last week picking up a New Yorker and you didn't stop by and say hello? I'm hurt! Lol
What 71 NY? Pics?

Sorry pal, believe me there was not a lot of extra time either time. On the inspection trip I seized (now unseized but suspect broken con rod) on the 71 Newport 80 km from Edmonton at one in the morning. Didn't check the oil mid-trip, was about a quart low, brought her up to 110 mph for just over a minute or two and that was all she wrote. Oil light didn't come on until I pulled over and it had over heated, no hot light either. Oh well, it was my fault and also kind of a good thing to force me to thin the herd. I did buy it as a parts car three years ago. Pricey tow job though. You know, the 71 New Yorker sunroof car "minute" posted here last year? He sold it then the guy who bought it sold it, and I don't have any plans to sell it. Will post pics soon, other than the lower quarters, it is solid! We should meet up sometime though.

I believe all the factory sunroofs were exactly the same in all Mopar's. Mopar contracted one vendor to put the same sunroof in all cars.

My 78 NYB had a problem on the road 2 years ago with oil leaking out of oil pressure light sending unit near the back of the intake. I didn't know it was leaking. Compounded by the hood release cable grommet slipped out of the mount so I couldn't get the dang hood open. I limped it at 50 mph for almost 200 miles to a friend's house with a lift. Formal's have a lot of stuff blocking access to the hood release cable from the ground up. We got it on the lift and was able to get the hood open and she as 3.5 quarts low on oil. She still runs great after getting a little more oil and a new sending unit.

More chrome on black. Makes it better.
Please gawd don't let it be manual a/c so I wouldn't shoot myself.

Get the gun Stan....

I blew up the interior pic and it looks like it has a fan switch. LOL!

Why is there overspray on the license plate? Where's the pinstriping? Hmmm got me wondering now....
