I saw the S/27 convertible at a Mopar cruise in tonight in Omaha. I knew it was in my area but hadn't seen it yet. I do not remember if the owner is a member here.

My impression...the car actually presents itself very well. The blue with blue and white interior is very attractive. You can tell the new owner is spending time on it. The engine bay and detailing were very nice. It appears the car was taken care of and is in good hands now.

No pics; I suck.

That's a good looking car.
So Doug let me get this straight, you don't have a phone that takes pictures?

Shoot I rarely leave the house without my white books let alone a way to take a picture.

Geeze....I try to post a Close Encounter with a well known custom and wind up defending my flip phone! Ya scoundrels! ;)

Doug, did the car look as nice or better than the posted picture?

I didn't kneel down and scrutinize the quarters behind the wheel but it is a nice car. I like the color/interior combination. The stripes actually look pretty good. It has some normal appropriate wear but it still shows well. It appears to be in good hands and will probably look even better the next time I see it.

There is no defense for a flip phone.

It fits in my pocket.
I don't have a flat screen TV hanging from my belt.
I don't hit it against things.
It doesn't get in the way of a seat belt.
I have an excuse to not get pictures I don't want to see anyway.
I don't rudely poke at it looking at stupid **** when I should be paying attention to family, friends and the world.
I have a landline with answering machine. I can screen my calls that way. Meaning, people don't bug me when I don't want to be bothered.
I set it on vibrate so when it is in my pocket, I get a quick thrill when someone does call.
Cost of ownership: no expensive plan every month = more money for beer, the car and gas to drive.
If I lose it or break it, I'm out $20.
I have a camera, PC, IPod, IPad and lap top for important stuff.
Smart phone storage = too small for me.
Smart phone battery life = too short to use as a camera for shows like Carlisle.
Can't see things on a small screen anyway.
More capability = less true communication and human social interaction.
I get along just fine with one.
It fits in my pocket.
