68 300, body color around taillights?

Leaburn is correct, there were a lot of federally mandated changes going on mid year '68. The most critical one to me was the seat belts. I'm not a huge fan of the '68 shoulder belts. I have 4 '68 Chryslers and all we built before 1/1/68. As a point of reference, my 2 dr. '68 300 was built...

    New C-Body Emblems

These same "Three Hundred" emblems fit '68 300's as well, on the C pillars of 2 doors and on the rear quarters of convertibles and 4 dr. HT's.

    New C-Body Emblems

All great to see, and we appreciate having attention paid to us! If there's a couple of items I'd like to see, 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury rear trunk emblem that says "Sport Fury." And another item that's super hard to find '68 Chrysler Newport/Newport Custom/Town & Country center grill emblem. I...

    Convertible Top Installation Cost

Just picked up my '70 Fury convertible from the upholstery guy. I know it's a fuselage, but they're similar top wise. New well liner, top, and installation of a Kee Auto top with a glass back window was $1850, which included the top/glass. I paid another $545 for a new boot from Legendary. All...

Quick question-'68 300 convertible wiper motor

I've come across something interesting on my '68 300 convertible, specific to the wiper motor. This car has 2 speed wipers, but the motor is a 3 speed. Is this common? Pics attached. Thanks!

1968 New Yorker Bulkhead and fuse panel problems/intermittent headlamps/park lamps

Nice work. I actually replaced the entire underhood harness on my '68 Newport Custom. Well worth it.

1968 GOLD Chrysler New Yorker heater motor removal

Been here, done this. All I can tell you is to make sure you got all of the nest out of the bottom of the cowl. I can recall sticking the vacuum cleaner down there. It had been there so long it rotted a hole in the bottom of the cowl. Had it patched years ago, and all is well.

    1966 / 300 - Recommend Convertible Top Supplier

I bought mine direct from Kee, and I'm pleased with it. I had it professionally installed before I shipped the car as the original one was toast. Pic is in my signature. So far, so good.
