"Golden touch tuner radio" is what the early 60's radio's were called. I noticed it has a speaker in the door that looks like the AM-FM stereo mutiplex radio option. I don't know if that was available in 67.
A 12 volt battery should not go below 12 volts. 12.7 is around normal with the car off. Also, the alternator is there to maintain the battery charge, not to charge a dead battery. Charge it fully with a charger and have a load test done. The battery is probably toast.
As someone who rebuilds 727's, A466, and Powerflites's, I find it highway robbery that someone would charge that much for a simple trans. It's easy to remove, and parts are not a problem.
Years ago I bought a 76 Eldorado that had a supposed rod knock. I learned of that trick from my machine shop, as those cars were known to have carbon build up problems. I started it and dribble water down the carb while on high idle. The knock went away, and I drove the car for some time with no...
Remove the regulator whole. There is no need to hack up the panel just to make the job quicker. Everything has 50 years of dried up grease on it anyway, and should be cleaned up and re-lubed.
Good video on glass removal. Typically on cars with a visor over the windshield, it's better to pull the glass from the bottom first. It will then just slide out of the top. To much risk of breaking the glass on the overhang. I found that out the hard way.
Other than the lack of power vents and cruise, it looks like a high option car. Twilight sentinel, rear defogger, 8 track player, possible TNT engine, and the AM/FM stereo package (note speaker in the door).
The 300 K was a console shift car. The transmission is 300 K only because of an extra position on the manual valve lever. This car was owned by a guy in Canada as far back as 2003, so it could be an export. Originally white with a red interior. There were more K's made than any other letter car...
It would be nice if people bought cars they wish to keep, instead of trying to make a buck, and driving up prices. Auctions and car flippers have ruined the car hobby.
