If I’m reading your post correctly your looking for a 14in Mopar rim that will clear disc calipers and be able to use a 10in dog dish or 14in full wheel cover?? I’ve tried 70s 14in disc rally’s wheels and 14in aspen wheels and won’t clear calipers. I don’t think the rims your looking for...

I’ve seen 2 types of boosters offered 63 Chryslers. I would check with booster dewey

Not to ad confusion to OP. Tapered axle puller will work on front drums of most cars. I keep one in my tow vehicle at all times. With as many frozen drum cars I’ve towed over the years.

If I recall right the 65/66 C bodies are the ones that go bad. A bad design

question will a 70 300 sub frame work in a 66 Chrysler ?

A tire guy was telling me that vintage bias ply tires that were well kept will be Ok to use,but it’s old radial tires that do not age well? Any truth in that?

As long as you don’t see any signs of cracking I would keep them. Then again I had to buy my own tire machine because my tire shop guy was throwing me out the door for wanting to mount up old tires. Also my favorite part on Cold War Motors is the classic tire episodes……

Just updating results of using 14 rallye wheels and or 14 in plain disc brake wheels from a volare. Unfortunately neither one worked?? Wheel would not clear calipers. Next I will try some stock 14 inch rims from from a disc brake 69 coronet wagon.

I have a 61 Fury with disc brake conversion. I have 15 inch wheels on it now I would like to use 14s with stock hubcaps. Picked up a set of 14inch rallies that I will be putting on. I believe they will work with discs. Also the 73-up A body 14 inch wheels will work with discs.

For what it’s worth! I know derby guys who have successfully used 74-78 disc set ups on 67-73 imperials

Got this tire wear machine from a junk pile. It has a large base that you drive on and somehow measures tire wear with indicator arrow.

Not a original tire but,a old 8 ply 700 15 that I was using on my car trailer. Developed a bubble!!!!! Still holds air.
