    Where to get a windshield?

That's news to me. Thank you! I have bought windshields from these guys before. Did have one that was badly smashed in a way that you could tell it was before it went in the box. The corner was completely folded. I think workers dropped it when wrapping it up. I sent them photos and they...

Rear A/C for 1969 T&C Wagon - Dealer Ad on Option and Use of R290 Refrigerant

In my 66 T&C with factory Rear AC, the rear circuit's freon lines are connected directly to the front circuit's freon lines by splitters near the firewall. The blower fan for the Rear AC are independently controlled by a switch on the dash, and can be on or off whether the front HVAC system's...

    Wrong windshield gasket?

Everything in my last post is just trying to connect dots (pun intended). I have a new gasket from Precision (Big_John's link earlier) and it's due to ship Nov 7 (that date has slipped a few times, but it seems stable for the last few weeks). When it arrives, we may have some more clues to this...

    Wrong windshield gasket?

The 'dot' is likely a molding gate, and there would be several around the whole gasket (maybe 4 or 8 of them?) so I don't think you can depend on its presence in that location as any proof. If the gasket is reversed, it might still have a gate in that location when you look at it. BTAIM...

What are you working on today??

Replacing 2004 VW New Beetle window regulators. The regulators aren't difficult to work with, but the door panels are a collection of very brittle plastics. Very poor setup. The dealer would have had great difficulty servicing them when they were new.

Steering wheel wants to turn right while idling, steering gear adustment or front-end alignment?

That does sound like the valve body is off. That is the only cause I've seen. You removed and replaced the engine, correct? It's not out of possibility that the valve body got a little knock by a swinging engine. It happens. Lots of threads on the subject here. I've never had to adjust...

Steering wheel wants to turn right while idling, steering gear adustment or front-end alignment?

1967 Monaco. Front stub replaced, steering gear moved to new stub. No alignment done (yet). Tie rod adjusters adjusted by eye. Upper control arm bolts tightened in center positions. All new bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints, etc. Torsion bar height adjustments made. Front end has...

73 Monaco followed me home yesterday.

I went to pick up a 73 Monaco in Michigan yesterday surprisingly it's not in to bad of shape. Parked in 93 cause the 440 lost oil pressure the guy I got it from pulled the drive train to use it for part's. Cars pretty loaded with power options the stub will go in my dad's 71 wagon and I'll use...

If it wasn't for Imperials and C bodies in general...I could see owning this beauty.

What are you working on today??

Puttered on my 68 300 this weekend. Repaired a couple wire issues, bypassed bulkhead. Got the 440 to turn over finally with good spark. Need to get fuel system hooked up before I can actually try and fire it off. Got parking lights, dash and dome lights to work, still no headlights, blinkers or...

    Wilwood Disc upgrade question…

Hey Fury! How'd the Leed conversion go? Any problems with the Leed booster bolting up to the firewall? Any challenges with the rod length? Thanks in advance!

    My Hurst project

Got a few small things done on the 300 lately . Progress is slow , but I'm plugging away as I have time . The dash is just about done . I have to test a couple of things and get a new speaker , but turned out well . I'm very happy with the paint I had mixed . The steering column is ready to go...

Rear A/C for 1969 T&C Wagon - Dealer Ad on Option and Use of R290 Refrigerant

R-290 is propane. It is an effective refrigerant but it is also flammable. It would be important to be sure the system is leak free. The factory compressor should survive with R-290. The front evaporator on most Mopars is pretty durable, they usually did not leak unless there was rodent...

    Bastardized 1959 "Coronet" build

Another cruise night last Friday. Car was swarmed... Hood latches are on, 3rd door skin brackets on, front fenders rolled but will still need more tweaking. They still rub on hard turns. Wife finally went for a ride. Asks if the heat works, nope, blower motor doing nothing... I'll need that for...
