Up for sale is this Bendix power brake booster for a disk/drum application, it's off a 1972 Dodge Polara and was rebuilt by Booster Dewey and never used. It needs a little clean up where the master cylinder was bolted and the check valve will need to be replaced. Price $175.00 and includes...

Can you help a Small block Chevy guy understand a 1962 Chrysler 413 with cross-ram manifold? - compression and pump gas?

As far as changing plugs (MOST)original Xram cars have factory original inner fenders that are removable to help assist in access to plugs. The brake booster is also slightly different.

    New Member, New Polara

Left a message, no response. Got a new dual circuit anyway. I'll rebuild everything, blow out all the lines etc. Given how good the seals look on the booster I don't believe it's the problem. Fingers crossed.

Help to Identify hose out of firewall

The Vacuum fitting on the manifold should have two ports, one for brake booster, other for the park brake release. Line from the fitting goes to a small vacuum reservoir tank. The line you have tied up comes out of the tank and to the park brake release/reverse light switch at the base of the...

    Will it work? Lol

I’ve been using the original drum brake booster on my ‘66 300 that I converted to ‘72 NY discs in the 80s and so far it’s worked just fine. But everybody says it won’t…

    69 Chrysler brake booster question

...all the parts are the same and any auto supply can get them, which is about 45+ years out of date. Even back then, the power disc brake boosters would probably need to be ordered, too. The main issue with fitment is the diameter of the booster body, plus its "dual-diaphram" length issue...

Good Day All Starting to gather parts for this winters project: Upgrading the single pot master on the '65 Newport to a dual pot. So far I have the distribution block ('68 Monaco wagon) cylinder to block lines from previous projects, and a new master cylinder that I will pick at Carlisle...

    Brake Booster Parts

Hello all. I've got a 1964 Newport that I thought was in need of a Power Brake Booster. I pulled it with the intention of getting it to Booster Dewey. Noticing that this is fairly easy to get apart, though, I thought I'd see what I had inside first. Interestingly, it looks like almost all...

Wrong brake booster? Holes dont line up

Do you know if the plunger thing connecting to the brake pedal on your New Yorker connects straight to the pedal, or is there a linkage thing? What a great car to have.

Front End Rebuild - Firm Feel or any other options?

Thanks for your response and concern. During my research on what was needed to do a front disc conversion on my C-body I came across Wayne, "theRamMan". I watched all his videos on Mopar disc brakes and contacted him to ask questions about a disc conversion and the required booster. I told him I...

Power Boost Break - Valve Cover

Thanks for the quick replies. I assumed that the valve covers fit all models and that it was due to the power brake booster. I was probably mistaken. I'll look for valve covers for the 1971 C bodies. Many thanks for the help

1962 chrysler Newport front and rear disc breaks

Valid concern and I believe the factory brakes would do that. I would be concerned NOT about the source of the master cyl but the diameter of the pistons in it. How different from the one that Wilwood uses if you buy their complete kit or is recommended by Wilwood? Hydraulic "leverage" comes...

    8th Annual C Body Show - June 22nd

If the parking brake was like my DeSotos (a hand brake that is easy to control), I'd drive the car on and off the show field using that. Unfortunately, the ratcheting foot pedal is harder to control and I don't need to risk hitting something in the process.
