    Nicer than expected 73 Newport

Congrats on CM43M3C332372 -- with a scheduled build date of July 10, 1973, she is one of the last fuselage Newports! B-VON, so this is a Canadian-market car. I am surprised that your car has the H53 AutoTemp A/C, because (1) AFAIK A/C was rarely ordered in Canada at the time and (2) H53 was...

How to clean a gas tank

try soaking in white vinegar. I'd say fill it half way then after a few days to a week, flip it over. You'd be surprised how good it cleans

NOT MINE No Reserve 1978 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham Coupe 440 on BAT

This car may have been here before, see this thread. It had 25k miles on the odometer back then. Somewhere in the text it says: "This New Yorker was also ordered with special Red exterior paint".

rear mail seal. How to do it right?

I am starting to stress out about how to do the rear seal. The crank still has the knurling untouched. The seal plate had these plastic inserts that look like they are in good shape. Should I reuse them? Does anyone know what the black glue was they used at the factory? It looks like they used...

    Nicer than expected 73 Newport

So the cars I buy are usually used as rental cars for tv use. It makes it easier as I never need to certify or register the cars. I'm working on couple period shows needing 70s cars. I spot this 73 Newport and it catches my eye, price was good and it looked to be in good condition. I do my own...

    Mind blown…

This is a small small glimpse of the hundreds I've had in my life. Perfect examples I remember where and how much a paid for every single one of these all were left for dead. Several came from scrap yards in South Dakota and Iowa. And all of these and dozens others I have/had have been posted...

The coolest part of this being installed on the B-36 is that the engine could be worked on while in flight.

NOT MINE No Reserve 1978 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham Coupe 440 on BAT

My local garage quoted my wife $500.00 to change plugs and wires on a 2005 Buick V6. We dropped them from doing any work.

    Mind blown…

Seeing Mopar dominate in EVERY SINGLE MOTORSPORT is why it doesn't bother me. Now these-days, if you are tearing up a NICE driver for derby...eh you are a low form of life. But the unfinished projects? The cars YOU ALL say are junk and worthless in other FS threads...Screw it right? Here is...

    Mind blown…

And I will add. Anyone willing to cough up $100 go to www.derbynation.tv.com and order the derby started yesterday to Sunday. At Bristol motor speedway. $400,000 in prize money you'll see we aren't a bunch of hillbilly red necks. And yes there are quite a few imperials running and 65-68...
