    A/C Compressor RPM Limit?

Update - system was low. It held a vacuum. Recharged and working correctly, blows 40F air. Used an ultraviolet light and can detect just a minuscule amount of green on the expansion valve seam and a speck or two on the condenser. Unfortunately other substances glow green under UV light as...

rear mail seal. How to do it right?

It does but its a rope seal. I see guys using pipe cleaners and silicone. The original plastic pieces fit tight. It seems like the factory used contact cement and maybe this? I do watch nick and he had that leaky 383 nightmare. I want to avoid that at all costs. I think he got a new crank to...

    Nicer than expected 73 Newport

The mileage reads 11430 so I would assume it has gone over once. The car shows very little wear so I have trouble believing it has over a 100,000 miles. On the other side I can't believe it has 11,000 miles. Lots of paper work and receipts came with the car but the mileage was never recorded...

rear mail seal. How to do it right?

This is where the FSM comes in handy. That operation should be detailed in it, IIRC. Might be a YT video of Nick's Garage that mentions it also, as Nick is picky about B/RB rear main seals. Enjoy! CBODY67

Car looks good and was a great find. NOW, get some new whitewall tires on it before the ones on it now separate while driving! CBODY67

WANTED Two barrel carburetor spacer phenolic/composite

Thanks! My dad would have have done it on a manual machine (his handiwork is on the moon) - I don't have the patience. CNC for me.

Gearing change... rear end or transmission?

I am not sure if Gear Vendors makes an overdrive for the manual trans or not. On my 67 Barracuda with the 5.7 Hemi and 727 with with 355 gears I went with the Gear Vendors Overdrive unit and it is the best of both worlds. The car really moves out while not in the overdrive mode, but gets 20 MPG...

Engine swap should I go 360 or 383

Cleaned up the 360 getting ready for teardown my plan is to just freshen it up as the engine runs good and start stockpiling parts for full rebuild later next year, I pulled the valve covers and it's clean inside looks like the guy who had it before me took care of it so I ordered oil pan kit...

    Idler issue.

The Mancini pulley arrived. Very nice quality and better than OEM. This pulley looks machined from a solid blank, not pressed steel.
