    mini starter fit issue

LOL, so it starts the car without running down the battery. Just like every properly tuned vehicle of any make I've owned has done for me.

    mini starter fit issue

It's just an overall superior unit. Less battery draw. Spins over faster. I personally like that my engine spins over faster, especially on the cars I have chokeless carbs on. After sitting a while i can crank it and build oil PSI before I pump the pedal and get fire. On my cars with proper...

    mini starter fit issue

I think if you need to spin your engine over faster than the original starter does and hope not to run down your battery you have more problems than a starter.

1959 Dodge Coronet - starting issues

I know this might sound flaky, but I had a situation where I started my car 4 times in a row, quickly, but the 5th try got nothing. What fixed it was to wirebrush clean the bat posts and cable ends. There was a grunge between them that apparently was causing the issue. One of the...

    Door seals?

They keep out drafts, help with energy bills, and even reduce noise from outside. If you live in a windy area, they’re a must-have. I went with the adhesive type, which was super easy to install. Just clean the door seals frame, stick them on, and you're ready! You might want to check out some...

    mini starter fit issue

What's the advantage of the mini-starter VS. the original starter. I've never used anything other than the original. Never had one fail that wasn't to my knowledge rebuilt. Never had one fail that I had rebuilt just because it was off the vehicle and thought why not. Never had one not perform...

How Much Octane Is Enough For Good Engine Performance?

Assuming flat top pistons and closed chamber heads. If you're at a true static 9.5:1 then you should be able to run 91 octane with a re-curve. Really comes down to cam, jetting and timing at various throttle position and loads. There is no blanket answer though. Octane boosters are...

Thank you all for the helpful tips. I will be picking up a new flasher very soon. I remember for my turn signal flasher, I bought one that didn't last very long so I found another type that was clear rather the metal one I had before. The clear flasher has held up well and I believe I got it...
