1959 Dodge - transmission parking brake drum removal - need guidance

What trans do you have a cast iron torqurflite or a 2 speed powerflite? On a 1961 cast iron TF the seal rides on the output shaft. On a 1962 727 the seal rides on the inside of the park brake drum. Look at the drum. On the inside where the splines shaft goes through. On the outside of that...

    WANTED Road Wheels - anyone?

I have a set of 4 in pretty good shape. I'm in Lancaster County PA, so that's probably too far away. If interested, I'll get pictures and sell them for the same price $100 each. I've had them a long time, just haven't thought about selling them. You can see them here: 1965 Sport Fury...

For Sale 1970 Convertible for sale

Thank you for posting CE27N0C106155 @62dodge. Rust-free and low miles with good options (and a rare N-code) is a great combo. Other than needing a top, can you describe issues (if any)? For instance, do the radio and A/C work, does the heater work, etc.?

    Hood to fender bumpers

IS there a 7-digit number cast into your existing bumper? If so, cross that Chrysler Part Number into the Steele database and see what comes up. Google Images might also find a picture of it, too! CBODY67

NOT MINE NOT MINE - 1966 Fury III 383, 4 speed WITH FACTORY AC for sale

The fact that it's a 4 speed with AC and the factory built it that way despite the known concerns of such a combination is what made it interesting to me. Rarity/oddballness appeal to some, but rare doesn't always equate to greater value. Value? I dunno - but obviously since it's not sold...

How to adjust caster (if indeed you can with stock parts?)

If the two upper control arm's eccentrics move the upper location points in together, equally, that is camber. If the two upper control arm's eccentrics move the upper location points in equally, that is caster. Positive moves the upper ball joint to the rear, negative moves it to the front...

    Coverting 440 A/C to NON A/C

In reality, the alternator location is common between the two types, as is the water pump location. Might need to do more research as to the front/rear orientations of the two systems. I did read years ago that the pulley diameters were completely different, as to drive ratios which resulted...

NOT MINE NOT MINE - 1966 Fury III 383, 4 speed WITH FACTORY AC for sale

What would we be willing to pay for a 4-door needing a paintjob and having a so-so interior? Does the 4-speed make it worth that much more?

69 polara 4dr exterior door handles

If the Polara/Monaco share the same handle as the Fury line my 70 wagon I used 1st Gen Ram door handles exact same housing just had to swap the mechanism. And those repops are way cheaper then the C body or NOS one's that I've seen so far.

1959 Dodge - transmission parking brake drum removal - need guidance

Went back and felt around inside the parking assembly. You were right, there is a parking brake wheel adjuster in there. Was able to tap the drum back on easily and then adjust the adjuster. Drum slide right off!! I'm assuming the fluid leaked out similar to a yoke being pulled out of the...

    Headlight cover motor - 300

There is a switch plate inside the motor gear cover. (Swith is under the cover for the square hole for the operating rod) The cam on the gear is supposed to open the switch contacts to stop the motor once the doors are closed. Usually your condition will be caused by damage to the switch. If...

I didn't say WOW, but I didn't say uhgg either... Wife said wow... Not sure what doesn't blow me away... But I think this mockup might stay... Tinfoil is the roof, blue tape is the rear glass...

How to adjust caster (if indeed you can with stock parts?)

rotating the eccentrics so that the front of the upper arm is out and the rear of the arm is in towards the frame will move the upper ball joint towards the rear to maximize caster...and yes their positions also affect your camber settings but normally there is enough adjustment to wind up where...
