How to adjust caster (if indeed you can with stock parts?)

The eccentrics on the upper control arms adjust castor and camber. Do you have a factory service manual, they describable it in there.

How to adjust caster (if indeed you can with stock parts?)

Unless I'm not understanding this correctly, I don't see how you can adjust castor (on C-bodies? or any 60's - 70's mopar? Or in my case a slab). Looking at the wheels from the side of the car, you can't move the upper ball joint towards the front or rear of the car, and likewise for the lower...

    Coverting 440 A/C to NON A/C

Why would you do this? Are you going to run the car on the track? I don't see the advantage that change would provide. Tell us more about your car and some pictures are always welcome.

Yep, I got that one as well. Easy, but that may be because I'm so familiar with her work as she's about my age.

I figure if I can't find it, then it can't be done. I have been duly "humbled" by a what a couple other folks found fairly quickly. Turns out "crow" dont taste like chicken.

    Hood to fender bumpers

Steele rubber products shows this as the hood to fender bumper (for a lot or all of the slab cars) This is not what I have. The 1 inch width looks correct. The lower part that pushes into the fender looks correct, but that wing that is coming off the right side looks wrong. Comments?

Happy Holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's). See if we can get some girls in. There are "rules" for this game the eight years since it started. Recall, with respect, for us 10 or so "die-hard" players of the game ) and for any casual observers/ new people who might...

    Coverting 440 A/C to NON A/C

Going drag racing? You might need that extra weight up front to keep the front wheels on the ground? You'll need the CORRECT pulleys for the components as they were different diameters for a/c and non-a/c cars. Otherwise, run the alternator from the water pump and crankshaft, just as the...

Looking for a clip in all the wrong places ...

Hi, everyone. Okay, this is a little silly I suppose. 1968 Dodge, 383 engine, no AC. Just had a lot of engine work done and I'd like to find a replacement for a long-missing clip. On the passenger side valve cover is a bracket upon which the heater hoses were designed to rest with a...
