My New (to Me) 73 Imperial LeBaron

Yep, that's my 2004 in Imola Red, black interior. It just turned over 170,000 miles. Sprice, that Online Imperial Club is one of the first places I went when researching prior to buying! I just registered it there a few weeks ago, and it doesn't appear to have been registered previously...

The new 1981 Imperial: Car and Driver review

As an owner of a 81 Imperial I found this amusing. https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a62530374/1981-chrysler-imperial-archive-test/

Where are all the fuselage brake calipers?

Okay, more on my BS brake saga: I'm trying to bleed the brakes to see if my pesky passenger side caliper will actuate now (after finally being able to be pushed in). My pedal is rock hard without the car running, which surprised me since there's tons of air in the line now. With the car running...

the correct temperature sending unit for gage not idiot light

Awsome info!! I am not crazy after all. Well maybe a little bit! I will take a meter to the store and ohm the part out before I buy it. Thanks for clearing up the " it looks the same " but its not the same problem I was having!

How to adjust caster (if indeed you can with stock parts?)

This is exactly how I was thinking it should be.

How to adjust caster (if indeed you can with stock parts?)

If the Adjustment bolt is low on the back of the control arm and high on the front of the control arm your axis between ball joints will be angled to the rear of the car giving you positive caster angle. If the adjustment bolt (Not the eccentric washer) Is high on the back of the control arm...

Another Dark Green 70 Polara, But a Nice One Again..................

Not just a green but a drab green... low chroma. Same with the brown tones, butterscotch colors, etc.... A reflection of the melancholy mood of the times.

    The Hurst Registry

The car is about 70 kilometers from my home. But it's possible if I visit city of Kouvola. The visit may take some time, but then I check the fender and door sticker date on the car. Then let's get back to it.

Where are all the fuselage brake calipers?

My new hoses are 1 inch shorter than what was on this 72 New Yorker. Tight. Bummer.

What are you working on today??

Took the 'vert out for it's annual New York State inspection. Went to an old buddy's shop and he had a Rambler Marlin outside. Didn't take a pic, I've seen it there before. The car passed, as it should, and he pounded a new inspection sticker on it... I got home and decided I'd spend the...

    The Hurst Registry

Would this be something that you could obtain Fender Tag J99XXX and Door Sticker date info from the seller? I realize this is asking a lot, but just think how good that would look in the Registry!

Where are all the fuselage brake calipers?

I did finally get the caliper moving after disconnecting it from the car and using a big C-clamp to compress it. The fluid coming out of the caliper was pretty brown and gross. I was worried that there might be a blockage in the lines, and that's what was preventing me from being able to...

    The Hurst Registry

The VIN and registration comes from the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom. One of its tasks is to maintain the motor vehicle register.

What are you working on today??

The wind blows the Dodge van outside mirrors back against the door because the tiny little strap clamp screws strip out of the soft aluminum mount that the mirror post well swings in. I drilled the 4 clamp holes 1/4 inch and taped to 5/16 for 5/16 bolts to replace the little 1/4 bolts. Fixed.

383 Built with a "Lumpy" cam - Running too Rich - Will Change of Metering Rod Springs Help?

Edelbrock 1406 carbs are set up to be on the lean side. All the advice above is good. That carb should work really nice on a 383. Are you running dual exhaust? Do you have the specs on the cam as that would tell us how mild or aggressive it is.
