Adding drain plug to gas tank

If you have to do this, you would be better off with an o ring seal under the plug head, rather than the rubber pressing against the thin sheet metal of the tank. It will deform and leak for sure, unless you have reinforcement inside the tank. How are you going to control the gas coming out if...

NOT MINE 1967 Chrysler Imperial 4 door HT$2,000 Los Angeles

1967. Someone has installed '68 side trim, which goes on top of the lower body lines; a '67 would have a single chrome strip in between the raised body lines. The main exterior differences between '67 and '68 were the side trim, the side marker lights which were mandated for '68, and the front...

NOT MINE 1967 Chrysler Imperial 4 door HT$2,000 Los Angeles

Wonky looking '68 side trim, looks like it is screwed on, but I see no side markers, and definitely a '67 grille. No door handles, either.

    vintage pics of downtown America

There 's one restaurant way down on the right that has been in the same location, same families owned, for over 100 years. The oldest in New York state. When I started working, it was right across the street. Went over for lunch every day. Was there so often, sometimes when I went to pay would...

NOT MINE 1968 Chrysler Newport Convertible (Auction Nov 16 / 2024) Zephrhllis, FL

I do like the tail lights. A nice, simple design, but not bland. The chrome ring sets it apart.

That looks like the correct type. I would contact the seller to verify fitment before you order.

    Rubbing Belts?

Wondering if the a/c pulley is wrong. Every picture I have seen so far has a double pulley, and double belts to the a/c and alternator. I see the alternator does have the double pulley. Now don't take my word for gospel, it's just based on looking at pics on the net. Somebody who knows for sure...

Loud creak when letting go of gas pedal

The parts i'm referring to are inside the passenger compartment, so you could well hear them.

Loud creak when letting go of gas pedal

There are a couple pivot points on the accelerator pedal and mounting bracket inside the car that could use a shot of lubricant also. Possibly even the throttle cable itself.

    NOT MINE 1981 Dodge Diplomat

You are absolutely correct. Either the doors have been replaced from a dark colored car, or the upper frames painted for some silly reason. They should be body color. I missed that until you pointed it out.

    NOT MINE 1981 Dodge Diplomat

It's nice enough, I guess, except for the headliner. I see nothing to corroborate the police car claim, though.

    Remember when?

I had one. Spent many hours driving the living room chair. It fit perfectly across the arms. Born in 1954.
