I was working on putting all my belts back on my 413 and the a/c and alternator belt seems to be rubbing against the power steering belt. Along with this, the a/c and alternator pulleys are not aligned at all. Do I have the wrong parts or is it something else?

Wondering if the a/c pulley is wrong. Every picture I have seen so far has a double pulley, and double belts to the a/c and alternator. I see the alternator does have the double pulley.
Now don't take my word for gospel, it's just based on looking at pics on the net.
Somebody who knows for sure will be along shortly, I'm sure.

So if my thinking is correct I could just replace the pulley then? I found this one on ebay but I’d like other opinions before I order it. For Chrysler New Yorker Dodge Dart & Plymouth Belvedere Satelite A/C Clutch DAC | eBay
Yeah, that's the only compressor pulley that I've ever seen.

Definitely some tomfoolery going on there. Do you have an unused groove on the crank pulley? You'll need it!

Here's how you remove the pulley from the shaft. Easy as can be, but you must have the bolt that's mentioned. No puller needed or allowed. But you see where it says "support clutch with one hand"? When you tighten that 5/8" bolt about 1/8th of a turn from finger-tight the pulley will JUMP off the shaft and go right through your radiator.

No, the ac and power steering are the same ones I’ve had since I purchased the car.

My guess is previously the belts were installed differently, in a non-factory way? To me it looks like the same belt could go around both the compressor and power steering pulleys. It might work but it wouldn't be right.

Continuing with that train of thought the alternator would have had to have been with it's own belt because it doesn't line up with the compressor. Regardless, it's all wrong.

I made a post earlier thats a little bit related to this, actually. The alternator was its own belt and ran underneath the water pump. Theres a nice little wear mark on the one I took off from that belt rubbing on it.

Maybe these diagrams might help the conversation. From a 1970 Chrysler FSM, which means these should all be big-blocks.

Apparently there is a single belt application. Who knew?

Never seen a single belt A/C 65 440. Never seen that A/C pully on one either.
