Thanks for the info...I did remove the 489 case and its not a sure grip...

I did remove the emblem from the drivers fender...the passenger side is mia....the dash pad is black but is coming apart.

So after spending the day tearing into this thing here is what I have that may interest some of you...this thing will be gone by Tuesday so if ya need something....speak now. The grill assembly with working motor Seats (white in color) fronts are buckets with the arm rest in the middle...drivers...

Just for your comment I painted a big 01 on the door today while we were tearing it a part...lol!! I also like the wheels and they will be going on my car trailer...

I bought a 71 300 for the drivetrain so if ya need anything p.m. me..the car is pretty rusty but there is some trim,emblems, and other misc. things someone may need. The grill and headlight assembly is all there and the tail lights are not broken...shoot me a p.m. with your needs and I will see...

The top is shot shot.... It has sat for 37 yrs. so it will need things like belts hoses just general small things. I have put new plugs, wires, fuel pump and fuel filter on it. Motor runs really good and tranny works good all lights and brakes work good.

70 Chrysler 300 a true barn find sat for 37 yrs. Car is option with power windows,power vent windows,6 way power seat, buckets console, power antenna, power trunk release,am fm 8 track, sentinel headlights, auto temp control, sure grip, and power top. This car has the original numbers matching...

It sounds to be the shift seal. You can do it without taking tranny out but you may have to drop pan and pull the valve body out. Somebody males a tool to do it while its in the car but I don't remember where I saw it. The seal is only a few bucks.
