    Commando, Sorry, yes I have an 8-1/4. Sorry to get mine confused with your 9-1/4, the sure grip threw me off, since I would also like to have a sure grip for my 8-1/4.

    Thanks for all the welcomes! After some more research today, I found out that the A100 vans from 65-70 have 61-3/4" rear ends. I am just not sure what they are, and if it will be a step backwards on gearing?

    Anyone know what rear-end I could replace my 741 in my 66 Plymouth fury iii with, it seems they have discontinued my rear drums (10" X 2")? I definitely would like the sure grip center, will t fit a 66?
