Bucket Seat Trim 66 Sport Fury

The anodizing material doesn't polish well, by the way. If you're looking to renew them, best way is to strip them (using Lye based oven cleaner, or have them professionally stripped), polish them and have them re-anodized. The better of the polishing job, the better the anodizing result. The...

How to Install Fan Shroud Bracket Cage Nuts

@GOLDMYN The brackets are hard to find as originals - they are C Body specific if I recall. However, their design isn't rocket science, so you can easily make a set up that will work with some sturdy sheet metal, a sawzall, a vice and a BFH then a driller for the holes. I made a set years...

Following, as I'm going to have my boxes rebuilt. Who performed your rebuilds? They should fix that, I would think.

    Driveline noise/drone/vibration

Keep us posted. Another element of the noise I just thought of is a loose/soft/cracked transmission mount rubber, or even the crossmember bolts, allowing a slight flex which might change pinion angle? Just a thought.

How hard can it be...68 sport fury

@68SportFuryAz - are you interested in selling one of the tachs? I don't care if it works or not, as long as it's got a decent housing and dial face.

For Sale 1965/68 Chrysler tilt and telescopic wheel and column 350.00

I don't think so - the padded centre caps are all the same 66 - 68. Having dealt with many of these columns for my Chrysler T&C and my 66 Monacos, I'm very sure that this is a 66 T&T column, as it has the correct dash collar. It would fit perfectly in a 65 or a 66, even though 65s were tilt...

    Driveline noise/drone/vibration

Pinion and tailshaft angle mismatch will usually set up a vibration that comes and goes - a rhythmic thrumming. A steady gear noise does not indicate that to me AFAIK - but what I understand happens with the mismatch above is that it wears on the tailshaft bearing and the pinion bearing, so...

1966 Newport power steering pump snub stopper replacement

It fits both TRW & Federal pumps, I believe. Federals have a number cast into them behind the pulley on the pump body, TRWs have the letters TRW cast in the same place.

Power Vent Motor- Anyone ever take one apart??

The motor case's mounting points should provide the ground to the body to complete the circuit, but I have seen some window motors that require a ground wire. Make sure the motor is grounded properly in addition to what Big_John is suggesting.

Ahhh... and the no brake application issue you described came AFTER you'd put new flex hoses on?

Well, if they've sat for years, and then been asked to do the same job under nearly identical conditions, there is nothing saying they couldn't/wouldn't fail at the same time. It's worth investigating.

Power Vent Motor- Anyone ever take one apart??

Well - even more I stand by my advice. It comes from my decades of pro music biz work. Often sound equipment makes various noises and buzzing, usually from a simple cause that can be a bear to find. When trying to find the source issue, we ALWAYS start at the sound source beginning and...
