Well pulled the trigger on my first C body. She's rough and as a B body guy I've probably bit off more than I can chew, but what the hell. I spent less than what my chargers suspension cist so as a mopar guy I'll just go into it assuming none of the parts are available, all the bolts will break and the glass costs more than the car's value. Doesn't run, but 383 rotates by hand. Trans health is unknown, 2 sets of seats, 3 consoles, 2 with tach but don't know if they work, horrible lower rear passenger quarter rust, trunk filler panel is shot, rear glass might not survive a big pothole or speed bump. But at least it has a title.

There's a lot of cosmetic ugliness there, but it looks 1000% better in the pics vs what I expected from your description.
Guys here have started with significantly worse cars.

The seats are from a ‘67 Sport Fury. It looks like the tail lamps are from a VIP.

Yep, guys have started with worse... A guy from the snowbelt, like me, would say that's very low rust!

But yes, bolts will break etc.. I asked Mrs. Big John the other day if guys that collect baseball cards have as much frustration.

Not sure how it ended up with incorrect taillights, Lord knows how many owners its had before I got it. But after spending stupid money for good light fixtures and lenses for my 72 charger SE Im just happy they are there. I know the black seats are incorrect. The seats that were originally in it are stripped down. I have them too.

I need to go thru all parts and clean before I'll know if I'm getting rid of anything.

Hi, from what's visible, your floor pans look good and you didn't have to spend $KK in transport fees to get Arizona car, or did you?

No transport fee, moved it less than 5 miles. My friend has had it sitting in a conex for 10 years, along with 2 300s and a 3rd 300 he's actively working on. It all got a little overwhelming for him and my wife loves him so she gave me the "whatever" wave. Done.

This is my other active project, but she's basically done which is why I got the Fury. Yes, I know not a C body. But I do LOVE mopar hardtops.

Looks like fun, good colors and basically there and straight.

It looks like the tail lamps are from a VIP.
@FURYGT

I can't tell from the picture what these are.
What do the Sport taillights have in the circled area?
A Fury III has a ribbed/grooved piece, and I've got some loose lights with a brushed flat aluminum piece - is that style for hte Sport or the VIP? Or perhaps both?

And ironically, that brushed piece is glued over the F3 version. Meaning, behind every brushed taillight lens lies a F3 taillight lens.

With the photo posted the tail lamp bezels do look like the Sport Fury & Fury 3 ribbed bezels.

So VIP is the only one with the flat/brushed inserts?
I bought a set of loose taillight housings some years ago and they were a mix of brushed and ribbed. Planned on peeling the brushed part off.
Might need to rethink that...

Fury II doesn’t have the trunk pieces.
