Another one followed me home! 1966 300.

What a beautiful car. All the plastic for the lights / lenses look like factory. I see it has the disc brake wheel covers - discs up front and drums in back? 383 under the hood?

What did you do to your C-body today....

Need the seats on my 69 wagon redone. This guys does beautiful work. Really nice job with duplicating the odd shapes of foam for this seat back.

What did you do to your C-body today....

Very nice job, especially on the love given to the long slab panels - that was a lot of work. These 383 67's are very drive-able and make excellent cruiser, very nice on the open road and gliding over rough pavement and bumps. Miss my 67.

What did you do to your C-body today....

You now have to use the Headlight door cover open option to leave them open in the snow ; ) Always enjoyed my NY'er's heater - it always kept me hot.

Thank you John. As my eyes are getting older and find I need a lot of light to focus on items obscured from view. Now it the time of year where I can't pull the car out into the sunlight - too damm cold out there. Thank you for your comments. Steve

Suggestions on LED Under hood Work Lights

I have been on-line looking at options for a LED - under hood type work light (that will be long enough to attach to a C-body hood) and will not require me to invest in an additional purchase of battery packs and a charging system. From what I have read, 2,000 Lumens seems to be the best...

383 Built with a "Lumpy" cam - Running too Rich - Will Change of Metering Rod Springs Help?

Has anyone had any experience in changing the step up springs for the metering rods in a Edlebrock 1406 carb, in order to lean it out, so the engine does not run so rich. Right now, my plugs are as black as a coal mine and the mileage is hovering around 8 mpg. The engine originally was...

Rear A/C for 1969 T&C Wagon - Dealer Ad on Option and Use of R290 Refrigerant

Thank you all for your replies and your comments. The wagon was parked in 1982. When the engine was freshened a few years ago, I was told the A/C System still had some pressure when it was dis-connected. The wagon was kept in a garage in Anaheim, CA and there is no rodent or other critter...

Rear A/C for 1969 T&C Wagon - Dealer Ad on Option and Use of R290 Refrigerant

While working on my 1969 wagon with rear a/c, I noted that the dash did not have a panel switch for off/low/high for the rear fans. The positive feed leads for the rear blower motors were connected directly to the rear tabs for the fan control switch above the push button controls. Also...

1978 Wiper problem, not the usual one

Its important that you obtain them from Mopar. The after-market bushings are not molded with a polymeric material that are the same or work as well as the Mopar bushings. Its also a good plan to replace all of them at the same time, once you are in there, you do not want to go back a few...

Tires for 1978 Chrysler New Yorker

Hi Fred - I have used this size tire on my 1978 New Yorker and have not noticed any issues. See the attached pic for size - scale reference. A number of us used to purchase these from Hankook - the Optimo H724 - but they discontinued making white walls. Recently for my 1969 wagon I...

Help with few things on 77 NYB

The clicking with the rear power windows may be the plastic gear inside the motor mech is bad. You can purchase replacements and put new gear lube in the unit. Search the site for posts on how to work with the spring loaded power windows. I have done it on my 1978 but use extreme caution...
