I’ll do that. Don’t want to drive it with the water pump like it is but could put it in and run it up to operating temp and see what happens. If the cam isn’t already hurt I’m nervous about it getting hurt. How much running could cause cam wear or is that unlikely as far as we know?

OK Little Pete, Is this thread still live? I'm working on replacing the fuel line on my '66 Monaco. I read your description, but you never got into how you replaced the section that goes into the frame. That's under the passenger door and then out in the engine bay. How did you place that...

I’ve been working under the hood off and on for about 2 weeks. Wasn’t there before water pump started acting up. Then the water pump grew noisy so I removed the belt and all normal. then after a while, a few starts and running to warm up and put trans through the gears to check trans fluid...
