Did the 69 Polara ever come with 14" wheels?

Toyo 225/75x15 with the 15x6. If I were to do it over again, I think the 215/75 would handle tighter. These toyos seem to roll on the rim a bit with the 15x6, as the manufacturer recommends 6.5 rims or wider. I did have 225/75 toyos on my 15x6.5 steelies, (1977 Cordoba)and they drove very much...

    Stuck rear seat

Yes, they can get "stuck". What usually happens is someone pulled up on the seat without pushing it back and that distorts the part that clips onto the floor mount. No easy fix other than to muscle it out. What does work is to take the front seat out, lay down on the car floor and push with...

Having some trouble with my 5.2 Magnum - Lifters

Maybe the transmission level was low before you drained it. Lifter rattle may be caused by varnish. Drop a pint of marvel mystery oil in it and give it some time on the road. Report back your findings.

Having some trouble with my 5.2 Magnum - Lifters

I forgot to add it’s holding 60 psi oil pressure at idle. It’s 30 degrees here too btw. I’m in a enclosed unheated garage.

    Stuck rear seat

I found that if I can wedge myself in front of the seat facing the rear work my knee into the front of the seat as I push it back helps. Alan

Having some trouble with my 5.2 Magnum - Lifters

Also I’m posting here because I know you guys as a collective have a lot of knowledge and are helpful. I’ve spent days researching other forums for 5.2/5.9 magnum vehicle info and haven’t been able to find anything that matches this board.

    Stuck rear seat

Sometimes a hit with a heavy rubber mallet as you pull upward will work. Worst case scenario, remove the front seat so you can push with both feet while a helper pulls upward.

Having some trouble with my 5.2 Magnum - Lifters

I haven’t driven it much for 5 1/2 years. Haven’t needed to and it’s had an ongoing battery discharge problem I put off. When I did drive it, short trips, I haven’t had any problems with it other than battery staying charged after sitting. Only thing is a slight clunk when going from park to...

    Stuck rear seat

Sometimes, very stubborn, bur not "stuck". Might need to "show it who's the boss", just don't let it win, in the end.

Correct Distributor cap for 1970 440

There is NO architectural or functional differences between the two caps, just the color. Usually, tan is considered to be OEM. Aluminum contacts, too.

    Stuck rear seat

They are very stubborn, I had lots of trouble with mine; ended up a little easier getting one side unhooked, then working on the other. once you get a little gap, you can sometimes manage to get your hand or a tool underneath the bench, and directly push the bar out of the hook to release it.

Convertible tops , Boots and well liners

Damn it, wish I hadn't seen this thread, been working on this car for 25 years and now I have to start again! Just kidding, my 67 300 has had the top replaced once about 30 years ago, and looks about 3 inches short on that last bow. My issue is that the top material has come un stitched or...
