Did the 69 Polara ever come with 14" wheels?

Toyo 225/75x15 with the 15x6. If I were to do it over again, I think the 215/75 would handle tighter. These toyos seem to roll on the rim a bit with the 15x6, as the manufacturer recommends 6.5 rims or wider. I did have 225/75 toyos on my 15x6.5 steelies, (1977 Cordoba)and they drove very much...

Did the 69 Polara ever come with 14" wheels?

I went to the 68 C body 15x6 rims, which were standard when equipped with disc brakes. I could not locate any 15 inch rallyes anywhere. When equipped with 14inch,( my 66-68) they were 14x6.

    anyone try Valvoline VR1

I use VR1 in all my classic cars, they run very well, no problems here. Also, when I drained the previous oil with the zinc additive I had added some time back, I found the zinc in the bottom of the pan and plugged up the oil filter, as it had not blended with the oil.

1958 Dodge Coronet - Moving from Flathead to a V8

You will have to stay pre 62' for your drivetrain, as the crank/bellhousing/clutch assy is unique to the model. an older polyhead would work if you could find a parts car you need, mainly everything North from the bell going forward. Most people just drop in a newer drivetrain, and can the rear...

Coker Classic vs. Diamond Back Tires

I found a very nice brand of 215/75R-14 called vercelli classics in whitewall, and I am very satisfied with the product, so I installed them on three of my cars, and they drive very well. they don't squat, and appear to have much sturdier sidewalls then hancook, they recommend max pressure at 44...

    8-10 mpg

In 1971 while stationed at Minot,I owned a 1966 polara 383 hardtop, barely 5 years old. got it with 40k on the car. travelling around base to base I saw 17-18 at 65mph, and 12 city driving, I have one today as well, as the same 383 gets 12 city with crap gas, and maybe 15-16 highway. But in 1971...
