Where was this Mopar Brochure/Ad Photo shot?

The funny thing is that I think you could fit the cars on the platform, but I agree that it looks like they didn't. Cadillac went even farther and eliminated the East/West tracks altogether and added a parking lot in the wrong spot. That ad is shown here. Vintage Ad: Arriving In Durand, MI...

Where was this Mopar Brochure/Ad Photo shot?

Hadn't seen this until now. The sign is fake, but the rest of it is real. Except for a fence along the tracks it pretty much looks the same today. GM also did at least one ad here, and like Chrysler they're an American Brand

Wholesaler closeout steering box at Rock Auto.

Thanks for the heads up, I think I just ordered the last one. The steering box is the last major leak on the car right now, so that was already on next summer's list.

    The Hurst Registry

I've seen some different (and conflicting) pieces of information. Do we actually know how/where these were built? I am assuming that they started as regular 300s built or mostly built at Jefferson Ave. Were the Imperial interior parts installed on the line there? I also assume they were...

    Steering coupler /Rag joint

I did mine this summer without pulling the column out. Loosen the 4 bolts that go into the "hockey puck" Undo the bolts on the floor inside the car that hold the sort of triangle piece at the base of the column where it goes through the floor. Sit in the drivers seat and pull on the...

WANTED Left front wheel hub - 11x3 drum brakes

I had the same thought, but based on the parts book, 63-65 all used the same hub & drum assembly. Learn something new everyday.

    Door Panel repair

I used 3 or 4 screws & nuts and then taped the seam between the metal and the new masonite. Also added a thin layer of foam to help smooth out that seam.

    1970 Seat Foam

On my '65, the handle releases the latch on the outer track & also pulls a wire that runs across and releases the latch on the inner track. There is a flat metal hook that pulls on the middle of the wire to keep it under tension & it attaches to the seat frame with a J bolt to allow adjustment...

    69 300 rear noise

The factory rear bearings are tapered rollers same as the front wheels. On the front wheel, you have an inner and outer bearing on each side and tightening the spindle nut pushes them together. Too tight and there is too much friction, too loose and things are wobbly. On the rear there is...

WANTED Left front wheel hub - 11x3 drum brakes

The outer bearing race is not seating tightly, so I'm looking to replace a front hub on my '65 Chrysler 300. I would prefer a hub that is already separated from the brake drum as I assume shipping will be much cheaper but will certainly consider one with a drum that is in good shape. I would...

CATL 2024: C-bodies At The Lake on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024 ("hub-and-spoke" to the Studebaker Museum in South Bend, IN)

I arrived safely at home last evening & hope everyone else who was headed back did likewise. Did have to regrease & adjust a front wheel bearing before leaving South Bend. Thanks again to @david hill for the assistance. That finishes up a 4 week stretch where I drove the '65 just about 2200...
