Looks like a great project, welcome to the forum. I'm using the pans from a '73 New Yorker 2-door to fix a 1970 Chrysler 300. Other than an odd bead roll here and there, the dimensions are the same from '69-'73, 2 or 4 door, the trunk pan will work too.

Unless someone wants to correct this, I think that looking at the advertising and design goals, magazine write-ups and what-have-you for modern plug wires is completely useless for our cars, cars with points and original coils, or even cars with retro-fitted or original electronic ignition...

From what I understand, the floors are pretty much the same. The rear floor has allowance for when it's used in a 2 door. Looks like you fell into the C2C trap. Sorry.... The rear pans look like they are reversed and on the wrong sides if that helps you at all.

Maybe it was original. I found this on a quick google search. Says for 64 Imperial, but looks like mine. It seems Ford used CUMO as well.

Oh, I definitely prefer the original, but pulling the clock to clean the points is a horrendous job---Have you taken out the cluster in one of these? My '56 Cadillac's clock can be removed by simply taking out the glovebox and 2 nuts to take the clock loose. Much Easier.

Given it has the H53 Autotemp1 option, that alone probably affects the seller's ability to move it at any price. If it really was a 1971 model then it would not.

I have no idea what is in it now, just got the beast. I did notice that the wires do not fit (8.5 mm). It has a Pertonix unit under the cap and a MSD Blaster II for the coil. Idles well but no brakes so I do not know much about it.
