The $32K in receipts shown for the work done on this 62 Imperial is a fairly accurate example on what a full body/paint, engine restoration would cost if done by an engine builder and body shop, but I've seen quotes for a lot less.
Hopefully the seller can recoup close to what he has into it.

from what i read previously in multiple sources, when introduced they were a 70's model year - ahead of the Pinto & Vega. The 71 was the first proper production year from what I gather.
