ENGINE removal question on 66 Chrysler 300

The only issue with that is you have to watch the trans as the front of the car will raise as the weight of the engine is lifted. I have used a floor jack for this myself as I can jack it up a little as the engine comes out. Easiest way is to support it with a length of 2x4 or even 2x2 cut to...

ENGINE removal question on 66 Chrysler 300

I have a short pipe I slide under two of the 5/8 bolts in the lower part of the bellhousing and it rests on the T-bars. Has worked great for me for years

For Sale 1968 imperial convertible #s match runs $2900 cad

If someone spent some time tinkering, they would be happily driving around in it. The pics look good, but there are some rust spots. It's not " restored". Sale pending

ENGINE removal question on 66 Chrysler 300

Just make sure you remove the radiator (and AC condenser) first before hoisting the engine as you will need to move the engine forward a couple inches so the flex plate will clear the transmission bell housing. To support the transmission, you can use a close hanger dowel (about 1.5" in...

The toys that made a difference to you...

I had those! I think it was right up there with my Erector set and my Tinker Toys! I loved building stuff.

    318 4-barrel from the factory?

That's what I expected, why would they put a cool-guy decal on a 318. Although when I'm done tweaking on my 318, I'll probably find one of those decals. Nice finishing touch.

    A74 code on 1970 senior Dodges (and A71 A75 A76 too!)

It's been a while. If my old guy memory is still good we presumed that mid September was the cut off date and around September 11 was the last car.

    318 4-barrel from the factory?

The answer is yes they did but I'm not sure the engines had that call out. @saforwardlook has a wealth of knowledge on the 318-4 and what it was designed for and why it exists

    318 4-barrel from the factory?

That decal is an aftermarket decal patterned after the originals for other engines, and reproductions based on the original versions. Originally used in 1973-1974 on 340 (73), 360 high performance (74), 400 high performance, and 440 high performance. Except for earlier export versions, the 318...

    I forgot these. Remember when?

    Remember when?

American Bricks. I had and preferred these to the fledgling Legos in the 60s: I still have some, but these are not the same as my originals in the 60s: That picture was taken today in my "Toy Room", which houses a lot, but not all, of my toys scattered all over my place. Some are vintage...

C body seat belts compatible with b body

Some c body's belts are the same ad b body. They might be a bit longer. Should work. Problem is the outboard retractors are longer/taller and may be in the way of entering/exiting the car.
