I'm glad this has finally come to fruition! I posted one to see if the demand was still high for used tanks a day or 2 before this news went public. I'm glad it's over. I was so nervous working around original tanks. These replacements look very high quality and I cant wait to have a few.

Pun intended, LOL? I have two in decent shape and now wonder if a brand new one would feel out of place in my refreshed engine compartment, but then again FOMO might push me to spend the money. I do think however that originals will always have a place in restorations where only original...

Thanks for the comments. Yesterday I pulled all the plugs to air out the cylinders. I also used fogging oil to make sure the cylinders/walls are good. Will do an oil/filter change to be safe. Will also probably replace the spark plugs as they smell like fuel. I did notice that the Dorman...

Thanks! For the radio/control setup, the VIN has to be programmed in. The parts are all factory, except for a small adapter wiring harness.The kit with the harness and VIN programmed radio came from infotainment.com. It was not a difficult swap,but a fair amount of pulling/installing trim parts...

Yes, I need a drivers side A pillar trim and the vent handles piece that goes under the steering column. I pulled too hard and broke it within the hour of owning the car. Figures all these blue interior junkers are half way across the continent or in Canada.
