I asked Murray if they made for ‘71 and he said no. I bought a new one from him for my ‘67 though.

    C-body survey on FB

A C-body FB group has been running a survey for a few days now. I'll post the results here, I don't think the percentages are going to change much from this point: What type of C-body do you own? Plymouth - 32% Dodge - 20% Chrysler - 40% Imperial - 7% Just a fan of C-bodies - 1% 457 votes

    '66 Imperial Brake Drums

WOW, There is a name from the past! Don't think semi metallic shoes would help me preserve the $500 ea. brake drums. I've used Raybestos riveted shoes for decades. I know the friction material has changed over the years but they still seem to work well for me, and they are easy on the brake drums.

One of my dream boats. A nice set of classy rims on thin whites and given the right stance this thing would be the ultimate beach cruiser here in CA! Gorgeous car..

    Ammeter bypass

Likely the relatively low alternator output at idle of the early stock alternators in relation to whatever loads are taking place. Some issues with the thru ’69 mechanical regulator can cause that as well.
