    Radio removal fail

Okay I got the radio out. The first screw I was able to slice with the Dremel easy. The second one the Dremel did not fit. Tried all sorts of things. After like 20 minutes I decided to just drill a hole into it. My plan was to drill a series of holes to make a line for a screwdriver. After one...

    Gene Hackman

all the actors I like, men or women, DO have that ability to be "believable" in whatever part they are playing. we see "em on the big or small screen, we already know its some made up stuff we are watching, and the people who made it are asking us (the audience) to "suspend our disbelief" in...

Is the ‘Certicard’ in the engine bay common?

My 67 Monaco convertible was built in Windsor, but I didn’t know if that was a common thing or not, thus my question.

For Sale PRICE REDUCED - $7.5K 68 Chrysler New Yorker Project OPEN TO TRADES

In the future secure a title in your name before taking apart a car. What I see now you have might be hard to get a title from Secretary of State. ( personally that's the only way I would get a title)

    Spun a bearing?

I had a lazy brother-in-law with a 1969 Grand Prix that had a terrible knocking/pounding noise and he chalked it up to a spun bearing. One day , I don't know why, I decided to pull the cover on the lower bell housing and found all the torque convertor bolts loose. Tightened then up and that was...

The dash would likely have to come out. The car looks stunning though and it’s still a deal at 17k, in my opinion.

    66 Newport Turn Signal Switch

I bought a TS switch from Rock Auto for my '68 a couple years ago and the arm fit fine, it didn't have a mismatch like yours. It looks to be a different part number than the '66 switch though. Bummer, but if the second one comes and it's identical, it shouldn't be too bad to add in a channel...

I need help with info about VIN/ ID / model of my 1968 Chrysler 300

From the factory on a 68 there is no VIN on the car other than the dash tag. The body stampings in 68 and older were the Shipping Order number. Starting in 69 the VIN was stamped on the body in two places. Alan
