Time and patience. Masking tape and small width tape from a hobby shop, razor blade and scissors and comfortable chair on the patio (New York, scrap the patio! Refreshments help. Clean hub cap very well to get rid of any any, any traces of oil and dirt, boil if necessary and then let the fun begin. I did all four of mine three years ago along with one extra, spent +/- eight hours on each. After taping, I re-cleaned areas to be painted to remove any body oils. For paint, simply used Rust oleum, let it/them dry overnight and then baked them in the oven 30-45 minuted at 250 letting the oven cool down with them in it. The attached is how then look after three years; as good as the day I finished them. I am surprised how well they held up. I am in Arizona with casual driving and to and from car shows; New York and your use. might be different but believe the baking was the big contributor to my success! By the way, my hubcaps came apart in five pieces; 65 Sports Fury.
