    DECODE help

That photograph is taken from the back of the seat where the two center straps come through. Each outside strap comes through a preformed plastic molded poorly design receiver

    Hubcaps restoration

I've used the Testor paint with pretty good results. I think the trick is to clean it with thinner or acetone. I did the red outline of the grille and that did need touch-up after a few years, but emblem on the trunk is still going strong after 10+ years.

    DECODE help

Thank you. The trunk release order code ends in a 7 (437) so no help there. Please tell me more about these seat belts. Why two belts in the same place? Are the belts somewhat automatically released or retrieved? Tied to the door opening? Very elegant.

    Timing chain slipped a tooth?

I had a similar issue, the spring in my fuel pump broke, it would feed fuel enough to keep the carb working until it made higher RPM or higher throttle opening, then it would have no power, back off and it ran normally. My $0.02

Wanted: Installation Info/Pics/Diagram/Hardware - 69 Fury Hood and Fender Extension Trim Option

My first reaction is to look in the body trim section of the Chrysler Parts Manual, in the "Illustrations" section. Each model is detailed in that section. Then go to the parts listings for that area as to the other items. Another option might be Rick Ehrenberg, as he used to publish tape...

WANTED 1966 Newport turn signal switch

I thought about taking a dremel to it but considering some places won't take an electrical item back, I figure if the part doesn't work AND it's been modified, they for sure won't take the part back. But, I may have to bite the bullet

    Hubcaps restoration

I can't speak for @jmustian and what he used for hte R-W-B on his wheelcovers, but I used Testors small-bottle enamel on the quarterpanel emblems on my 300L and it didn't last long. I cannot say how long it lasted, but it needs done again. He said he clearcoated on his, and that probably makes...

    VIN's on engine and transmission

Well, possibly... I need something to pull a trailer so I don't abuse the family van using it. I need to be able to bring firewood in. People offer me free wood all the time, but I don't have a good way to haul it. Don't like towing with the van. We'll see that's still aways out in the planning.

    Low Compression 440 Build Questions

Not many people realize that with a 440, retarding the cam bleeds off a bit of low-end torque (for better and easier hookups) and then adds it back in on the top end power. Especially on street tires (as that's what he had to run for the nostalgic street car class. In prior times, it was felt...

These options were alot of money back in the day. Many people could barely afford the car payment without many options.

Fuel sending unit: is this the right orientation?

Like Big John says, I just went through that with my 68, it will only go in one way. I was concerned with the angle of the line also until I got it back under the car and it line right up with fuel line.

Fuel sending unit: is this the right orientation?

There are 2 tabs on the sender that go into these slots at the tank opening. It can only go in one direction.

I get it. In 93 I sold my ‘89 Dodge Shadow ES Turbo after my first daughter was born. I bought an ‘87 Town & Country Turbo wagon to replace it. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Voyager 1 and 2 still alive!!!! 38,000 mph!

Couple of different images of the same cosmic activity: star-making. Star forming regions are where interstellar dust clouds collapse under gravity, heat up, fusion starts, and depending on the size of the new star(s), it "burns" for a few million to several billion years. The gas cloud can...
