    Mopar electronic conversion epic fail.

When I installed my electronic ignition I mistakenly connected to the lower voltage side of the ballast resistor and my control box + car were not happy. It obviously needed to be connected to the 12 volt side, the original wiring/ignition switch takes care of running less voltage to the coil...

    AVS2 650 CFM on a 383-2, tuning help needed

Alright. I've had the AVS2 on for a while now and the first time I did it quick and dirty by hearing when I felt it sounded right. Seemed to go great. Then I got a new exhaust, and started messing around with it after installing the carb cheater to see the vacuum and AFRs. But if I set the AVS2...

Power Steering Pump for a 440 going into a 1965 Fury

Are you using the 1965 mounts on the mid-'70s block? Or the mid-'70s mounts that fit the block? Finding a shorter belt (or a smaller pulley) might be the trick? Enjoy! CBODY67

    Rear axle bearing vendor choices

For some of the ones for my '59, I had to search the Timken p/n directly as it did not show up under my car on its own, but they had it.

Steering box blows a seal. Now what?

    1. Remove the box. 2. Find the leak 3. Determine if YOU can repair the leak or NOT. 4. Either repair it yourself, or hire another party to do it for you. 5. You MIGHT want to just replace the steering gear box. Its all a question of time and money; how much do you have?

    NOT MINE 70 Monaco Couch

The angled front edge of that upholstery suggests not-comfortable. I get that's not the purpose of it, that it's a conversation piece. In which case, I'm sure $6500 could get you 2 such pieces with just a little effort.

Steering box blows a seal. Now what?

Thanks for the reply SIPLOWGUY. I do not know what the sector shaft is. I gave the unit a cursory look when I got home, and now I'm even wondering if there's a hole in one of the hoses. I'll take a closer look tomorrow.

I need tips for installing transmission cooler lines...

If the center link removal will work, then I recommend you do that. Why fight it when that will help.

I need tips for installing transmission cooler lines...

I have a '71 Imperial. Just installed the rebuilt and detailed engine. I'm trying to install the stock 727 transmission cooler lines. I can lift the engine off the subframe engine mounts but still find issues feeding the lines over the center steering link and around the oil pan and over the...

Steering box blows a seal. Now what?

Hello gents. In my travels today in the 67 Newport Custom, I began to smell a strange smell. It turns out it was power steering fluid. I put the car on the lift when I got home, and it looks like there's a blown seal in the steering box. What's the fix? Do I have to remove the box and have...

Is there a thread specific to 70-71 U-code cars? If so, I would put the info from mine in there.

    My Unicorn, eh?

Maybe someone with some slabby experience can help me here. The 4 speed car has a Vinyl Top and a rear window gasket. Thin trim The parts car has no vinyl and no gasket for the rear window, seems to be glued in like Fuselage cars with wider trim. Is the glass interchangeable? Is the...
