I have a '71 Imperial. Just installed the rebuilt and detailed engine. I'm trying to install the stock 727 transmission cooler lines. I can lift the engine off the subframe engine mounts but still find issues feeding the lines over the center steering link and around the oil pan and over the cross member. Not a lot of room.

Any tips for doing this? I think I'll have to remove the center link to have any chance.

The mild steel ones are pretty flexible, stainless not so much. Steel lines, just wrap those in something (so as not so scratch new paint) and pull them through. As long as you don't kink them you can bend to fit once in place. I struggled with stainless on fitment and then the fittings would forever leak - went back to steel.
