Machining work 516 heads port work/bigger valves/hardened seats??

Yes, I would like to see such a dyno battery on the 413 or a mild 440. 1 piece at a time, and in a logical order. Meaning, a guy would likely do the headers first in his car, then dig deeper into teh cam. So no point to dyno the cam thru log manifolds and then switch to headers. I would also...

NOT MINE 1970 Dodge Polara Convertible in Good Condition For Sale - NOT MINE

Sigh. Lately I've been getting 'cookie too large' errors, too. FCBO is the only website that ever gives me any trouble.

NOT MINE 1970 Dodge Polara Convertible in Good Condition For Sale - NOT MINE

1970 Dodge Magnum | eBay DL27L0D205523 is back, over 1.5 years later, still with same seller and same price. But now with AI-enhanced pictures, including the rare Pontiac LeMans Crestwood. But even AI cannot make those hoodscoops look good. @ayilar - this one seems to have a hood that aligns...

NOT MINE 66 Plymouth sport fury 3 on the tree console car $4000

Awfully rare but possibly not any more desirable than a 383-2 automatic car in comparable condition? Presumably someone would want it as the base of a 4-speed conversion - but there's still a lot of parts to obtain to finish that job. Looks pretty straight and solid with minor rust - but man...

    SRT SEATS

Is your Newport a 2dr? Was the SRT a 2dr? Keep in mind, any modern 4-dr seats might not have provision to flip forward. In the old days, a 4dr bench was sometimes made the same but needed a bolt removed and a pin and latch swapped in. Modern seats are made totally differently from what we...

    Stupid Key Question

If you don't know where your local locksmith shop is, it's probably right next to the radiator shop where you get your radiator boiled out.

NOT MINE 1968 Plymouth VIP 4-door hardtop, barn find, 34k miles, 318, Hamburg, Pennsylvania

Agreed. A guy could easily spend $3000 reviving it. And considering how long it has been sitting - there are a lot of unknowns. I'd love to have somethign like that with a 5.2 Magnum for a bit more spunk and MPG - and then just drive it everywhere I went.

Chinese 4 barrel for the win!

The only concern I'd have on those Chinese intakes is how good the tooling is, for whether the runners flow equivalent volumes of air, and for core shift. But there are no guarantees on that on the US-made ones, either. And FWIW, it was reported that the factory 5.2/5.9 Magnum beerkeg EFI...

Cheap or Good second hand carpet for my 65 Chrysler Newport Sedan

Look for carpet tape also, if you need to do cutting/splicing, it works well. And keep in mind that the seats, door sills, etc held hold the carpet, so if you cut/form it well, it's not going to move around. To that end, there would be some residential carpet types that might be useful. As...

    Cheap Chinese laser welders.

FWIW, Lincoln, Miller, et al are getting (or going to get) their clocks cleaned in the market. The technology in the modern IGBT / inverter welders is widespread, every manufacturer has it. At my last job, we needed to buy some welders to replace worn-out Lincoln TIGs, and we discovered...

    Factory 4-Speed-C-Body-Photo-Thread

We've discussed this single-snorkel car on here sometime in teh past. The upper doorpanel upholstery is not factory, it should have vertical heat-sealing on it. Or maybe stitching, I don't remember. But at least stitching would better emulate correctness. As would spending $250 for the correct...

Were 1970-71, 16 Slot Rally Rims Made of Stainless Steel?

FWIW, those '79 300 wheels were 15x6. And they only have 15 slots, and the profile on the center disk is a bit different.

Is there no source (or was there ever?) for 16 x 7 Magnum 500 rims?

FWIW, Coker has a decently-priced 17" whitewall. I can imagine some wheel/car combinations where it would be perfect. And it's a narrow stripe also. Coker Tire 50280 Coker Travelstar Radial Tires | Summit Racing FWIW, Michelin used to make a 16" whitewall that got lotsw of use on Town...

NOT MINE 1971 NY FB 4dr U code

I guess I should have specified - not often seen on a neglected POS car in 2026.

    NOT MINE 70 Monaco Couch

The angled front edge of that upholstery suggests not-comfortable. I get that's not the purpose of it, that it's a conversation piece. In which case, I'm sure $6500 could get you 2 such pieces with just a little effort.

NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible (silver, $11k ask in Memphis TN)

Yes, but the centers on the car for sale are not later Road Wheel centers, they are the A-B-E types with the big scallops around the lugnuts. Specifically, they are the later A&B ones ('75-newer?) with the replaceable center like in my first picture.
