    NOT MINE 69 Polara Convertible

If you're seriously interested.... I could maybe take a drive up to check it out. a bit over 4 hours each way, but a beautiful drive! May be someone closer as well, I think the Minneapolis crew may only be 2ish hours from it.

    Back door wont unlock.

If you can get the door card off as well as the vapor barrier it should become evident what the problem is. Might be tricky with door stuck closed though . . . I'd start with that if it were me.

    NOT MINE 69 Polara Convertible

This is likely the 4th thread on it. It's dropped 13 grand in price. There's gotta be something wrong with it. I e mailed them, just to open the door to a phone call. The reply was, come test drive it. Ok.

JEEZES H. MURPHY! That's an eye catcher. I wonder if it holds up to an actual touchy feely inspection.

Heater core leak on my new carpet

Go get a spray bottle from home depot, wet dry vac. Add a table spoon of mild dishsoap like Palmolive to warm water. Lift carpet from floor a couple inches, if more better for drying and air to suck through the carpet. As you spray the carpet agitate with fingers, vacuum. Repeat till fingers...

    Starter testing

This is my first time for the mopar gear reduction starter test. Most times, I have used jumpers on the main and on ground, then hit the small solenoid terminal to activate starter. All my past units just stopped when the solenoid was cut. On this starter, it runs for a few seconds...

    76-78 new Yorker front bumper

They aren't my favorites because if.you zoom in you can see how they start to open up like a mouth towards the center (this bumper has been ran once already )but they work if cheap enough and yours was priced very fair just shipping sucked and I believe Fastenal quit shipping large items

If you have any corrosion on your booster, the platting will really show the pitting.

Heater core leak on my new carpet

Pressure testing isn't always going to find a problem. My brother pressure tested the heated core in his 63 440. It checked out fine. The third time he took the car out it started leaking.....on my feet as I was riding in the passenger seat. He is still mad that he didn't replace it when he had...

    70 Polara Custom Rescue

I cut every rubber hose in half forcing replacement. Standard procedure on my vehicles. I learned long ago how the rubber lines fall apart and can cause air leaks in addition to fuel leaks. My 78 NYB would break up and run like crap about 3500-4000 rpm and I struggled to figure it out until...

Wyatt: check the vent nipples carefully. The tank I bought from Vans had cold solder joints that cracked causing a gas leak when I filled the tank.

March, is that the one in Oklahoma? If so, I saw that display in the '90s.

I think it took longer to figure out the hitch than to remove the tank...which I just cut the straps instead of fighting dirt/crap filled threads on the J bolts I re used.

Hope you replicated the fuel sender clamp/ground situation with the new tank. Swapping the other short pieces of exusting fuel line for new should be easy with it on the lift. There should be a whole section in the owner's manual on the SuperLite and how to make it work best. Including beam...
