Seems like that if you hold the handle in the "open" position, you'll see the bolt that attaches it to the door shell? Past that, it's just a rod that goes to the latch mechanism. Long-lasting parts.

Nothing to the handle to go bad, the mechanism inside is universal on all Mopars over many years, not much to go bad there.
