NOT MINE 65 300 Convertible 4 speed (North Judson IN) $6000

Closing the loop - I saw on FB that this car is now being parted out. I did not see any of hte 4-speed parts listed, but they may have already been sold by the time I saw the ad.

    Parts question

No internet, no cellphone and wants local pickup - that's 2 strikes and #3 as a foul ball. You might need to broker/ship these parts for him? The pedals would be a reasonable price at $300 or so. Worth more if the other clutch rods and stuff are available. ~20ish years ago I bought and sold...

WANTED ***Need a console for 4 speed***

Also - We have an informal registry, please 'sign up'? FCBO Four Speed Owners Registry And we have a 'sightings' registry, feel free to put it in there too. The registry thread was intended for FCBO members, and original 4spd cars, but I think it strayed from that. The 'sightings' thread is...

NOT MINE 71 Chrysler 300 2dr sunroof car, project, $6000 obo Nuevo, CA ( ebay)

Number of watchers doesn't mean anything. Could be as simple as people tagging it to check the auction after it finishes. For a variety of reasons that have nothing to do with actually buying the car (like competitive assessment, saving the car info for reference, etc).

    70 Polara Custom Rescue

Excellent progress so far in re-awakening this one. Is that sealant or tape on the threaded fitting? If so, you shouldn't need that, it's an SAE 45° flare fitting, and should seal fine w/o sealer. Same flared fitting style as the brake tubing.

Leaky Rear Window - '66 Newport

Clean/scrape as much rust out as you can, treat with the rust preventer of your choice, and seal with something. I would use the brush-on stuff I posted earlier. It should only get wet when you wash the car, right? Use a leafblower or shopvac to get the water out of there after washing.

WANTED ***Need a console for 4 speed***

If you didn't get that FBBO console, ABC Moparts is reproducing some of the parts. Console Parts Archives - ABC Moparts Be aware, the Z-bar shown in the photos for a C-body looks the same as the one in the 64-65 B-body photo, and it does not look correct to me for a C-body. Maybe it has the same...

NOT MINE 71 Chrysler 300 2dr sunroof car, project, $6000 obo Nuevo, CA ( ebay)

These pics kinda suck, and seller's description doesn't help much. Located in Nuevo California, body is good not a bunch of rust . a little but not bad at all. It does run and has a transmission . Will get some good pictures asap. It has been park but starts right up. Please ask what you...

Leaky Rear Window - '66 Newport

My 65 SF rear window had some mild rust issues (same rear glass/gasket as you have). I've had good luck with this, it goes on wiht a small paintbrush (you supply it, IIRC it's not a brush-in-can). BUT - you'll need to decide if removing the rear glass/gasket and cleaning/painting the metal...

NOT MINE 1971 Chrysler 300 2dr on eBay (rust bucket)

Am I the only guy to have noticed this?!?!?!? @Chry300guy When you get time, post some pics of that. Make sure to take a bunch, too, you may want them in the coming years. As you may know, there were no 4-speed Fuseys, only 3-on-the-tree and then only with 318 or 383-2 barrel. (oh, and 6cyl...

    NOT MINE '69 Newport 2-door 14,900 miles.

Would looks like an all-original time capsule if it were wearing whitewalls. Modern-era Cooper Cobra RWLs? Not so much.

Maybe people with money want to buy from a dealer so they 'know' they're getting a better car. :realcrazy:

NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler newport 2dr manual $7,000

I would think an A230 is what's in there? Driveshaft length should be same is keeping with long-tailshaft transmissions?

    NOT MINE 1970 Polara/Monaco (?) convertible.

Update - is still for sale but by a different seller from post #1, is posted on FB as of June 2, with a reduced $11k asking price. (IIRC it was orig $12 or $12, 500 with this seller) Seller notes that "the original owner put a rubber coated mat which is glued down to the trunk floor, as seen...

'66 C-Body Kickdown/Throttle Linkage Pops off/Disconnects at Upper Bell Crank When Start Accelerate/Shift Down

Thanks for confirming that. As I was re-reading that old post I had made, looking at it with fresh eyes, I realized I was not 100% sure I had a 383 rod in there in the first place. Which would've made my conclusion invalid.

Yeah, based on what I requested and the response that was provided, I can only conclude that a Hurst has equivalent acceleration to a 72 New Yorker.

'71 Monaco 4 door barn find

My memory is that 1970 SFGT had the standard cam and dual exh (rated at 360hp?) but 71 had the HP cam and was rated at 370hp - down from 375 in the 1970 HP rating. IIRC the CR in 1971 a little lower than 1970 (was around 9.2 vs 9.5 or 9.7) and that went along with the 5hp drop. CR was...
