Both screws have been removed. There is a chip at the top and a small hole. Additional photos attached.

As far as I know, the floor shift conversion is long gone. 1973 was the first year for all gears to be snyncro'd. No overdrive just plain jane 3 on da tree. column bushing are still great on mine btw.

It's rarely seen that someone swaps an engine like this and actually reinstalls the AC parts. I wonder how they mated that cast-crank externally-balanced engine to the 19-spline torque converter. There's a B&M special flexplate to do that. Or knock the 400's TC weights off and weld to the 65's...

Closing the loop - I saw on FB that this car is now being parted out. I did not see any of hte 4-speed parts listed, but they may have already been sold by the time I saw the ad.
